The options presented to me were for me to PHYSICALLY GO TO THE STORE to pick up the phone, BUT my husband had to be present. Well, it turns out it is a big hairy deal - especially if you have to deal with AT&T! I initiated an online chat with a rep and advised of the issue/s. We didn’t think it would be a big deal with the cell phone scheduled to be delivered today. We cancelled our landline on the 1st before the new billing cycle began. WHY DID IT TAKE UNTIL 2 45 FOR THIS *** TO RESPOND? STRIKE ONE! Which is what my husband did when he emailed Trevor at 11:45. THAT CONFIRMATION STATES AN AUTHORIZED PERSON CAN BE DESIGNATED TO RECEIVE THE DELIVERY. THIS CONTRADICTS THE ORDER CONFIRMATION WE RECEIVED. At 2:45 - 45 minutes PAST the latest time he was to arrive - he finally responded to my husdand’s 11:45 am response and said that my husband HAD to be the one to receive the phone. My husband knew Trevor wouldn’t get here by noon and he needed to get to bed for work tonight, so he immediately emailed Trevor back and said I (his wife) would be here to accept the phone delivery.įrom noon to 2:00, I heard nothing and no one showed up. He received an email from Trevor *** at Enjoy at 11:45 am reminding of the appointment. The delivery time window was 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. As he works 3rd shift 7 days a week, he chose to have the phone delivered today by “Enjoy” - a third party contracted by AT&T. My husband tried to create an online account using the phone number assigned to him, but it wouldn’t let him. In one of the emails we received after placing the order, it states an authorized user could accept the delivery with a photo ID. My husband ordered a cell phone and new service on 12/1/18.
